I have always been mesmorised by the visual feast of the theatre and dance, and have always adored being
a part of the magic. But as a dancer and later as a professional musician, I always secretly preferred to see things from the "front". I cant tell you how frustrating it was for me to play in orchestras for the Australian Ballet and Australian Opera only being able to see the faces of the front row of the audience from the pit.

My passion for the photographic art form is driven
by my desire to create imagery for the artist. I explore possibilities beyond the literal documentation of what a performance looks like. I like to capture the unusual and the extroadinary - details which pass so fleeting in the twinkle of an eye. I believe in capturing the essence of a moment whilst always producing innovative and evocative results.
